July 28 ---/ Rapper Foxy Brown hit with lawsuit from New York-based publisher Simon and Schuster. The suit, which was filed Thursday (July 24) in New York State Supreme Court, stems from a book deal made with Brown to write her autobiography. The rapper, born Inga Marchand, received a $75,000 advance from Simon and Schuster in 2005 to pen the book, which was tentatively titled Broken Silence. Despite claims by the publisher that Brown reneged on the deal, the rappers attorney, Laura Dilimetin, says Simon and Schuster allowed to her client to put the project on hold after Browns "health became a priority"...
