"Sleepy Eepee" fades in like air bubbles rising to an ocean surface. The opening song "Loose Ends" uses ethereal keyboard lines accompanied by a soft strummed acoustic guitar to build slowly and effortlessly into a pretty harmony by the band's two vocalists Solon Bixler and Rachel Stolte. Bixler and Stolte are the centerpieces; their voices complimenting each other with a natural, unforced cohesion. When they are not harmonizing or trading off on stanzas, their individual strengths shine and the music sets in with a melancholy, tear-stained backdrop.
