Noise rock maestros Sonic Youth have certainly had a long profilic career. Aside from releasing nearly twenty albums, they have also had a long string of EPs. The SYRs (Sonic Youth Recordings) are a series of experimental EPs released independently by the band, usually pushing avant-garde sounds to an extreme.
