Elbow have always had real confidence in their sound. Guy Garveys beautifully rough yet tender voice is the star of the show. The guitars have been turned up, making things a little rockier, while every song has the same purpose an advantage. Guitars are augmented by some fantastic string arrangements and Garveys voice, used, as always, as an instrument in its own right.
