The American Dollars eponymous debut is soundtrack music to a lifetimes worth of subliminal highs and blistering lows. Ok, so it might not be the most dramatic or traumatic of lifetimes but it is one thats worth living. Instrumental music utilising rock instrumentation usually points purely to post rock these days, but New Yorkers Richard Cupolo and John Emanuele put a different spin on a now ageing and increasingly ponderous genre.
