At the beginning of the month I reviewed Soulja Boy Tell'em's dbut (s)hit Crank That. At the time, I was really hopeful that it would be a one hit wonder, and I'd never have the misfortune of hearing anything so bad ever again. Unfortunately, Soulja Boy didn't take my wish that he would quietly retire from the music scene and live off the earnings of his one hit, and is continuing to inflict his non-music on the rest of the population. If at all possible, this song, called Yahhh! (oh for God's sake, make it stop already) is even worse than the first one, a feat I didn't think he'd be able to pull off. Soulja Boy has this time teamed up with another rapper, who goes by the name of Arab, and the pair of them together fail to come up with anything decent. At least Arab does a little bit of proper rapping on the song though, while Soulja Boy just shouts 'Yahhh trick yahhh' over and over again. The video is terrible too, featuring a crappy plasticine model of Soulja Boy and a stereotyped white guy who were the situation reversed would be accused of being a racist character. Before any of you who happen to like Soulja Boy accuse me of being too old to get rap music, I can appreciate the genre, and love some hip hop, but what I don't appreciate is talentless people like this getting rich from making crap records.
