Adele's debut, "19" (XL Recordings), entered the U.K. album chart at No. 1, delivering on the critical acclaim it has garnered, while "Now You're Gone" (Hard2Beat) by Basshunter featuring DJ Mental Theos started a fourth week atop the U.K. singles chart. London-born singer-songwriter Adele's "19" has already led to a BRIT Award, the new Critics' Choice honor, which she will receive at the Feb. 20 event at London's Earls Court.
