If 2004's Greater Wrong of the Right felt like the logical next step after their pre-breakup finale, The Process, Mythmaker is in essence a jigsaw comprised of Key's recent Download work and Ogre's solo efforts. At times, it is chaotic, organic, electronic, poppy, grim, and even oddly plucky. "Pedafly" is like a relapse into Ogre's stint with Pigface; like that industrial-rock circus, it is a work of gritty guitar sludge and smug marching snare, a stomping mess driven to a funk frenzy via Ogre's nasal half-rapped bounce.
