No wonder David Dondero (or DD as he calls himself on the final track) is on Conor Obersts Team Love Records in the US. The Minnesota native has influenced the Nebraskans singing style and in turn his music sounds a lot like Oberst: literate story-songs crammed with words and a strong pop-sense, although theres a bit more of a country influence in DDs world.
