The Holloways' Manchester performance saw Manchester University Students Union invaded by painfully trendy, leopard skin clad, bright young things hoping for an excuse to wave their glowsticks in the air. Fortunately, the Holloways style of post-punk with fiddles put pay to any whistle blowing. The support was ably provided by Kubichek!, who combine all of the intensity of Interpol with the speaking voice of Jimmy Nail. Cue much atmospheric red lighting and Ian Curtis-esque jerky movements.
