The overall popularity of a band like NOFX allows such an act more than a bit of latitude when it comes to putting out non-album releases. Case in point - I've Heard They've Gotten Worse, the legendary punk act's second live release, one which clearly doesn't double as a "Greatest Hits" sampling. Having seen NOFX live a number of times over the past 13 years, I can attest to the band's evolving stage show, which presently consists of 55 percent witty/crude banter, and 45 percent sloppy musical secretions (and perhaps some excretions as well).
