Turbo Recordings from Montreal, Canada delivers the next Chromeo release, an 80s synthpop-alike single. Chromeo, the combination of two virtuoso musicians seems to work out quite fine. Combining both their unarguably needs for synths, rhodes, guitars and above all their craze for (as they describe itself) 'slick-ass lovers' funk'. Earlier this year Chromeo surprised many with the releases Tenderoni and Fancy Footwork. This must have been the moment this collaborating friends started to discover themselves to be successful in the eighties revival going on.
