Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke has confirmed that he has begun writing a book.

Going on hiatus in 2009, Bloc Party decided to take their first lengthy break in almost five years. Since releasing their debut album, the band had thrown themselves into the tour-record routine.

Deciding to have a rest, singer Kele Okereke soon found himself back in the studio. Locked in a room with a collection of antique synths, the musician discovered a different way to approach songwriting.
