Avenged Sevenfold have announced that Confide drummer Arin Ilejay has joined the band.Ilejay replaces former Dream Theater sticksman Mike Portnoy, who temporarily stepped in to assist the band on the recording of their latest album Nightmare and touring duties following the death of Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan in December 2009."We recently asked several friends who knew Jimmy and his style, and also knew our music and each of our personalities to suggest drummers to tour with us starting this year," reads a statement from the band.
