The internet’s a wonderful thing, isn’t it? An untold wealth of music is instantly available, as is the means to offer your opinion immediately afterwards �" whether it’s wanted it or not. There is a school of thought that the latter aspect may hamstring bands in the future, that the interminable online bitchery will prevent any band from achieving the success of previous generations.

Frankly, this smacks of excuse-making. If the huffing-and-puffing of trolls can knock you down, you must have built your house of straw.
