Klaxons have won Best Art Vinyl's best record cover award 2010 for their album 'Surfing The Void'.

The art of the album cover seems to be fading away. Before the new-fangled internet came along the release of cover art would be massive news, with fans eager to see the visual accompaniment of the new material.

Now, though, they seem to be met by a general shrugging of shoulders. Which is a shame, as there is still a huge amount of wonderful design work being attached to new releases across the globe.
