Cold Chisel will hit the studio this week to put down their first new music since 1998.

Chisel's last studio album was 'The Last Wave Of Summer' 12 years ago. The new music will be a prelude to their headlining show at the Denilliquin Muster in October.

The band will also perform a one-night only warm-up gig before the Denilliquin Muster at the Shellharbour Workers Club in Wollongong.
