Ventura are a pleasantly experimental heavy rock and punk tinged band from Switzerland. Their début album, Pa Capona came out in 2006. I’ve yet to hear that one but I’ve been a listening to their brand new, second release We Recruit quite a lot lately. There is something different about Ventura, something that holds them apart from the usual heavy noise/punk sound. First of all the production is full, clear, and heavy.
