G-Unit News: G-Unit Signs With EMI

G-Unit have abandoned their long-term relationship with Interscope and have started a new partnership deal with EMI Label Services.

Under the new arrangement, EMI will distribute and market G-Unit Records for North America and promote releases under the G-Unit roster.

The signing also marks a changing in the way labels are working with artists. “EMI Label Services’ unique approach gives independent artists and labels creative freedom along with access to the expertise, marketing and promotional muscle of a major label,” the release states.
