A judge has rejected a lawsuit by Carly Simon against Starbucks for her last album failing to sell.

In 2008, Simon released ‘This Kind Of Love’ exclusively to Starbucks through Hear Music. The album sold 120,000 units.

Simon’s claims Starbucks did not honour the marketing commitment they had for the album and argued that the album failed to sell because just five days before the album was released Starbucks started to close down stores.
