George Wein’s Newport Folk Festival will return to Newport, RI’s Fort Adams State Park on July 31 and August 1. The influential folk and roots music festival will bring together a diverse mix of artists, including previously confirmed co-headliner Levon Helm. The festival’s July 31 lineup will feature the likes of John Prine, Andrew Bird, Brandi Carlile, The Low Anthem, Yim Yames of My Morning Jacket, Doc Watson & David Holt, Calexico, Dawes, Nneka, O’ Death, Liz Longley, Blitzen Trapper, A.A.
