Newspaper reports suggest that the Hawkins brothers are back and readying new material.

Here’s a band we didn’t expect to be writing about when we woke up this morning. The Darkness are alleged to be reforming and, after years of dispute, the Hawkins brothers are apparantly holed up in Lowestoft, demoing material for a brand new album. Our source for this information? The Sun. It must be true.

If this reunion is to happen, they must be certainties for this summer’s festival season. The question has to remain, do people actually care?
