Seminal Detroit duo The White Stripes are to release a live album drawn from their recent tour documentary 'Under The Great White Northern Lights'.

The White Stripes erupted out of Detroit with a minimalist blueprint. While all around them were succumbing to Pro Tools and the wonders of the internet the band's almost archaic working methods made them stand out a mile.
