Kaiser Chiefs drummer Nick Hodgson is set to use the break from recording to launch a new label.

Kaiser Chiefs are one of the most popular indie acts in Britain. Emerging from Leeds the band's acerbic take on Britpop turned them into festival favourites, scoring high on the charts with hits such as 'Ruby'.

Touring incessantly, the band recently confirmed that they are to take time off. Speaking to fans after their performance at Leeds festival last summer the group claimed they needed time off but were not set to split.
