Gary Lightbody, frontman of Snow Patrol as well as the lesser known and genuinely superior The Reindeer Section (who've been on hiatus since 2002) has announced two new side-projects whilst speaking with 'BBC Radio Scotland'. One goes by the name of Tired Pony which is made up of his wife Miriam Kaufman, producer Garrett 'Jacknife' Lee, drummer of Belle & Sebastian Richard Coburn, Reindeer Section helper Iain Archer and 'two very special guests' whom he doesn't want to mention quite yet (though the internet seems to think that one of them will be REM's Peter Buck).
