Joe Budden’s never been a pacifist, but even for him he’s been on a particular rampage lately. The latest addition to Budden’s enormous “tracks where rappers get served hard” catalog is R.I.P., a net-only banger that was the product of a late-night studio session. Produced by regular production partner J. Cardim, who puts together a beat that at first sounds like a montage from a ‘80s sports movie before turning on the juice, R.I.P. appropriately kills any wack rappers that dare stand in its path.
