First time around the cultural phenomenon that is Lily Allen never really caught up with me. It might have been the gobby attitude or the 'too cheery for it's own good' music but something about her never really connected. With the release of 'The Fear' last year though that all changed. The faux cockney knees-up posturing had been replaced by a truly glorious, modern electro-pop with just the right amount of pathos.
