Scottish indie star Fran Healy has revealed that Sir Paul McCartney is set to appear on his forthcoming solo album.

Fran Healy has long been the dominating songwriting force in Travis. The Scottish group emerged from Glasgow with a clutch of catchy tracks, but only hit paydirt with their melancholic second album 'The Man Who'.

Becoming overnight festival favourites thanks to a certain performance at Glastonbury, the band now operate on their own record label. Recording and releasing new material as they please, Travis returned last year with their album 'Ode To J Smith'.
